Scene Study Intensive | June 1-5

$240.00

Ready to do the real work? This intensive is designed for serious young actors who want to dig deep — into text, into character, and into the craft of scene work.

Over the course of the week, campers will:

  • Select and work on scenes from existing plays.

  • Explore the techniques of master acting teachers — Uta Hagen, Sanford Meisner, and Michael Chekhov — and apply them to real scene work.

  • Analyze text, develop characters, and explore the relationship between scene partners.

  • Rehearse and refine under the guidance of a working actor and director.

  • Present their scenes at the end of the week.

Other stuff you need to know:

  • Instructor: Jeremy West

  • June 1-5 | 12:30-4:30pm | Drop-off up to 30 minutes before

  • Location: 211 N Lewis St, Staunton

  • Designed for campers entering grades 8-12.

  • Campers should bring a water bottle and a snack.
