Volunteer Roles:

Fill out the interest form
  • Build and paint sets for productions. We need hands-on workers of various skill levels. Must be comfortable using power tools or learning how to use them.

  • Serve drinks and snacks to guests, handle cash, and keep the area clean.

  • Welcome guests, sell tickets, and hand out programs

  • Operate lighting controls during shows based on the light designer’s cues.

  • Manage sound effects and mic levels during performances.

  • Help make and fix costumes. Sewing skills are a plus but not required.

  • Take photos or videos of productions for promotional use. Must have your own equipment. (Can be an iPhone)

  • Help raise money through donations and sponsorships. Planning fundraising events and campaigns. Soliciting and collecting silent and live auction donations. Helping with decor setup and teardown.

  • Take apart the set after the final performance and organize materials.

  • Recruiting, training and organizing volunteer schedules. Communicate roles and times.

  • Write proposals to get funding. Requires strong writing skills.

  • Clean and maintain the theater. Includes repairs and general upkeep.
