Saturday Night Improv!

Improv shows on the first Saturday of the month featuring the adventures and misadventures of our adult improv students.

A woman is arguing with a man while a third person, sitting with a doll, points at the woman in a staged scene, possibly during a play or rehearsal.
A group of people sitting together, with two men in the foreground sharing a moment of laughter, one with his hand on his face and the other smiling.

What style of improv will you see? It's called TheatreSports™: a competitive improv form where participants engage in unscripted scenes with minimal setup, relying on instinct and bold choices to drive the action forward. You, the audience, get to vote whether the scene was successful or not! Only one improviser will be awarded the winner of our show!

Anything could happen and a $10 cover gets you an all-access pass to the madness where *you* decide who the winner is. Doors and drinks at 6:30, show starts at 7:30!

Instructor Zach Laliberte will guide you in the craft of improvising, as taught to him by master improv teacher Keith Johnstone. The form of improv we’ll be exploring in this class — and in performance — is called TheatreSports™ a dynamic improv form that emphasizes spontaneity, physicality, and raw creativity. You’ll learn how to take risks, fail happy, and take care of each other on stage.
