Musical Theatre/Jazz Dance (Grades 1-5) | Winter-Spring 2025
This beginner-level course will teach you the coordination, grace, and strength it takes to tell a story through dance.
We’ll start with warm up, flexibility and strengthening exercises, fundamentals of jazz dance technique, fundamentals of ballet technique,and then move to dance combinations, and across the floor combinations highlighting elements of jazz and ballet techniques. All set to the energetic and lovable songs from everyone's favorite musicals.

January 16-March 20; April 3-May 15. No classes the week of March 24-28.
Meets in The Warehouse, 211 N Lewis St, Staunton VA
Please wear comfortable, form-fitting movement clothes. Split-soled jazz shoes are optional, otherwise you can be barefoot. No jewelry. Bring a water bottle!
