Storytime Ballet introduces young dancers to the foundations of ballet through storybooks inspired by classic ballets such as Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake. Each class includes story time and guided movement to music that brings the story to life. Students are introduced to basic ballet vocabulary while building coordination, musicality, and focus. Emphasis is placed on listening, moving with intention, and understanding how stories can be expressed through the body.
Silver Line dance classes cultivate a life-long love of moving your body without the time commitment and expense of elaborate recitals … just the pure joy of dance.
Saturdays from 10-11 a.m.
Winter/Spring session: January 17-May 23 (no class the week of March 30-April 4)

Meets in the studio classroom at 211 N Lewis St, Staunton VA. Enter through the front door.
Please wear comfortable, form-fitting movement clothes (or a leotard and tights if you prefer). Ballet slippers are encouraged. Bring a water bottle!
